The Lamborghini Automobili unveiled the Aventador J after six months of the launch of an Aventador. Hence the Aventador J was born at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. The Aventador J featured the same V12 engine of the Aventador which produces 700bhp. The J was roofless, radio-less and didn’t even have an air con and was driven by a 7 speed automatic transmission. The Aventador J never had windows or even air conditioning to save weight. It weighed just 1575kg. However only one model was ever produced and it was sold for US$2.8 million. Moreover, another one was also made a gifted to an Arab for establishing good relations.
The name Aventador J raised concerns and on close inspection it was revealed that the ‘J’ stands for Jota as a tribute to the one exquisite Lambo Muira Jota.
